Immediately after your application, you will notice an initial colour known as the cosmetic bronzer or colour guide. This allows us to see the coverage clearly and achieve a more precise, even application. Some of this initial colour will rinse away during your first shower, while your true tan continues to develop over the following hours through the action of DHA.

Every tan is personalised according to your natural skin tone, desired depth of colour, the occasion and the amount of development time you have available.

We offer rapid-development formulas, which are generally rinsed between three and six hours after application, as well as traditional formulas that develop for approximately eight to ten hours and can be ideal to wear overnight. Your exact rinse time will depend on the formula selected and your desired result. During your appointment, you will receive clear, personalised instructions on when to take your first shower.

As the colour develops only within the outermost layer of the skin, it will gradually fade through the skin’s natural renewal and exfoliation process. Your spray tan will generally last between five and seven days, although this may vary depending on your skin preparation, daily moisturising routine, aftercare and lifestyle.

You may book another appointment the following week once your previous tan has completely faded and your skin is properly exfoliated, clean and free from any remaining product. This allows us to achieve a fresh, even application and another beautifully bronzed result.
